Course Objectives The main aim of this course is to have a general knowledge about the profession of advocacy in consideration of regulations, basic principles and rules.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain the nature of the legal profession.
  • Define the limits of the advocate’s legal rights and remedies
  • Analyze the advocate’s professional relations with the clients, the courts, and the colleagues
  • Discuss the advocate’s legal, criminal and disciplinary liabilities.
  • Compare its status with other legal professions
Course Description This course deals with the legal regulations related to the profession of law, relations between lawyer and client, types of advocacy organizations, changes in profession, specialization, rights and obligations of lawyer, ethics/professional rules.
